Windows and VMware System Administrator

Job Summary

To support a growing client base, the full-time Windows and VMware System Administrator will administer, maintain, and optimize Windows server environments and VMware infrastructure while providing effective technical support in a remote work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning
• Manage and support VMware infrastructure, including vSphere and vCenter Server, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Provide technical support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Windows and VMware environments

Required qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of overall experience in IT infrastructure administration, with at least 5 years in Windows Server and VMware administration
• Strong experience in Windows Server administration (Windows Server 2016, 2019 and later)
• Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere, vCenter Server, ESXi)
• Experience in PowerShell scripting for task automation and system administration
• Understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
