Job Summary
Owning the development of a Windows Endpoint Software Engineer, the full-time remote position will take the Windows agent from proof of concept to a signed, installable product, managing kernel-mode drivers and user-mode services while ensuring robust performance and security.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a signed, auto-updating Windows agent product from proof of concept
- Manage the WFP callout driver and user-mode relay, ensuring synchronization and evolution of both components
- Design and implement a fail-open architecture to maintain network functionality during agent failures
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience in Windows systems software development, including services, drivers, or endpoint agents
- Proficient in kernel-mode or low-level Windows development with knowledge of KMDF or WDM
- Strong understanding of Windows networking internals and the Windows Filtering Platform
- Expertise in C or C++ for driver development, and Go or similar languages for user-mode programming
- Hands-on experience with Windows code signing and the process of shipping signed kernel drivers
