Windows Engineer
Job Summary
Driven to succeed, the full-time Windows Engineer will administer and troubleshoot a large-scale enterprise Windows environment, focusing on planning, design, implementation, and efficiency improvements while participating in a 24x7 on-call engineering team.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot all supported subsystems and third-party applications within the Windows environment
- Plan, design, implement, and enhance processes for Windows server and workstation platforms
- Provide consistent customer service and participate in after-hours support as part of the on-call rotation
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of related experience in Windows engineering
- Expert level experience in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft technologies including IIS, MSSQL, and Active Directory
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts
- Ability to obtain a Position of Trust Clearance
