Key responsibilities
- Own hiring, coaching, and performance management for the Windows team while fostering a collaborative environment
- Ensure team delivery and culture by running rituals, monitoring morale, and addressing issues proactively
- Manage project delivery by communicating progress and risks, and collaborating with cross-functional partners on planning and execution
Required qualifications
- Experience in developing and delivering software on Windows with proficiency in C#/.NET desktop applications
- Proven engineering management experience, including hiring, conducting performance reviews, and team accountability
- Strong ability to mentor and develop team members, measuring success by team growth and output
- Familiarity with AI development tools and a critical mindset towards their application in engineering
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
