Windows Server Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Windows Server Engineer to design, implement, and maintain an enterprise-grade Windows Server environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Windows Server instances on physical hardware and VMware virtualization platforms
• Administer enterprise-level DNS, DHCP, and IPAM to ensure reliable network connectivity
• Implement security baselines, manage WSUS for patching, and ensure compliance with audits

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years in systems engineering with a focus on on-premises data centers
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server Core and Desktop Experience versions
• Solid understanding of VLANs, subnetting, load balancing, and firewall rules
• Proficiency in PowerShell for bulk administration and task automation
