Windows Systems Administrator
Job Summary
To support and maintain core enterprise infrastructure, the remote contract Windows Systems Administrator will manage ServiceNow tickets, lead vulnerability remediation and patch management, and execute infrastructure projects across cloud and virtualized systems.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and resolve incoming ServiceNow tickets related to Windows Server, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365
- Lead vulnerability remediation and patch management activities for Windows OS and core infrastructure
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting across cloud, virtualized, and on-premises systems
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of dedicated Windows Server administration experience in enterprise environments
- Hands-on expertise with Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting
- Strong background in patch management and vulnerability remediation using MECM/SCCM
- Direct operational experience with cloud and virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Azure, or AWS)
- Practical experience managing Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 environments
