Job Summary

A company is looking for a Wireless Engineer for a remote, contract role.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of enterprise WLAN environments
Monitor wireless performance and troubleshoot issues related to coverage and connectivity
Support wireless site surveys and assist with coverage and capacity planning

Required Qualifications

3-6+ years of experience in network engineering with exposure to wireless networking
Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Mist, etc.)
Basic understanding of RF concepts and wireless networking fundamentals
Familiarity with wireless security protocols (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X)
Understanding of basic networking (IP addressing, switching, routing fundamentals)
