Wisconsin Certified Cloud Architect

Job Summary

To support the State of Wisconsin's Department of Administration, the contract Certified Cloud Architect will serve as a strategic advisor to the CISO, focusing on the implementation of security controls and cloud architecture while working remotely with occasional onsite visits required.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior executives in public sector environments
• Mentor and train infrastructure and security operations staff through pair-engineering and technical upskilling
• Operationalize security controls and implement risk governance structures across cloud environments

Required qualifications:

• Wisconsin Certified Cloud Architect certification
• Proven experience in large or complex environments, particularly in public sector or federated enterprises
• Expertise in enterprise cyber stacks, including Google Threat Intel and Microsoft Azure Arc
• Experience in Cloud Architecture and DevSecOps Engineering
• Demonstrated success in technical mentorship and leadership roles
