Job Summary

Processing litigated accounts for patients represented by attorneys, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Account Specialist will engage with legal representatives and patients to gather relevant information, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and educate stakeholders on financial options while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Processes litigated accounts by contacting attorneys and collecting necessary demographic and insurance information
• Follows compliance procedures while documenting actions in internal technology platforms
• Educates patients and attorneys on healthcare revenue cycles and repayment programs

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 9 months of experience in collections, legal, or insurance industries
• Preferred 1+ year of experience making sound decisions and resolving problems
• Must reside in the state of Wisconsin
• Previous collections or customer service experience preferred
