Job Summary

Processing litigated accounts for patients represented by attorneys, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Account Specialist will engage with legal representatives and patients to collect relevant information, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and resolve account issues remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Processes litigated accounts by contacting attorneys and collecting necessary information while documenting actions in internal systems
• Ensures compliance with industry laws and department procedures while managing account-related communications
• Educates patients and attorneys on the healthcare revenue cycle and repayment options to enhance financial understanding

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 9+ months of experience in collections, legal, or insurance industries
• 1+ year(s) of experience making sound decisions and resolving problems preferred
• Must reside in the state of Wisconsin
• Previous collections or customer service experience preferred
