Job Summary

Wisconsin Licensed Care Advocate is a full-time position responsible for facilitating the treatment process from admission to discharge, monitoring patient care, and collaborating with clinical teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track patient care, acting as a liaison with third-party payers for medical necessity authorizations
• Support process improvement initiatives within the Utilization Review department and assist new care advocates
• Provide ongoing communication and customer service to stakeholders, including patients and clinical teams

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree required; Behavioral Science preferred
• Two years of previous work experience in an office or hospital setting preferred
• Knowledge of managed care, Medicaid, and Medicare
• Utilization review experience in a hospital, outpatient, or managed care setting preferred
• Computer skills required, including proficiency in word processing and data processing
