Job Summary

Providing leadership in the treatment process, the full-time salaried Wisconsin Licensed Care Advocate will coordinate patient care, advocate for medical necessity authorization, and support process improvement initiatives while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as the liaison between the organization and third-party payers for medical necessity authorizations and documentation compliance
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care and manage discharge planning
  • Support process improvement initiatives and assist new care advocates in adhering to standard work
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Behavioral Science preferred
  • Two years of previous work experience in an office or hospital setting preferred
  • Knowledge of managed care, Medicaid, and Medicare
  • Utilization review experience in a hospital, outpatient, or managed care setting preferred
  • Computer skills required, including proficiency in word processing and data processing
