Job Summary
Providing leadership in the treatment process, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Care Advocate will coordinate patient care, manage medical necessity authorizations, and support process improvement initiatives while working remotely and attending local trainings and meetings in Wisconsin.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Rogers Behavioral Health and third-party payers for medical necessity authorization and documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure quality patient care and manage discharge planning
- Support process improvement initiatives and assist in training new care advocates on standard work
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Behavioral Science preferred
- Two years of previous work experience in an office or hospital setting preferred
- Knowledge of managed care, Medicaid, and Medicare
- Utilization review experience in a hospital, outpatient, or managed care setting preferred
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and data processing
