Job Summary
Analyzing mid- and higher-level auto claims, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Claims Adjuster will determine damages, manage claims adjudication, and negotiate settlements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manages mid-level and higher-level auto claims by gathering information, assigning reserve values, and settling claims within designated authority
- Assesses liability and resolves claims, ensuring proper documentation and coding of claim files
- Communicates with claimants and clients regarding claim actions and manages subrogation of claims
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Four (4) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
- Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position
- Subject matter expertise in insurance principles and laws relevant to the line of business handled
