Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner to manage insurance claims processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and process insurance claims received electronically or in written form
  • Evaluate claims and verify policyholder information to determine claim eligibility
  • Investigate claims, negotiate settlements, and process payments as needed
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • Fellowship of Life Health Claims (FLHC) Certification preferred
  • Two or more years of relevant experience in auditing, accounting, contracts, or information technology
  • Experience with insurance and/or medical terminology
  • Familiarity with claims processing procedures and documentation
