Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new commercial business, renewal policies, and endorsements to meet agency profitability and production objectives
• Analyze risks and agency performance to identify corrective actions and support underwriting profit
• Communicate effectively with agencies and provide guidance and mentoring to junior underwriters

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Three years of experience in commercial multi-line underwriting
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
• Completion of a certificate in General Insurance and Associate in Underwriting program
• Experience with analytical skills
• Ability to provide mentoring support to junior staff
