Job Summary
To support psychiatric nurse practitioners with medication management, the part-time Wisconsin Licensed Consulting Psychiatrist will provide clinical consultation and guidance in a 100% remote capacity, without direct client care or prescribing responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical consultation and guidance to psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Support medication management practices without maintaining a client caseload
- Engage in planned provider consultations and case discussions as needed
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active medical license in good standing, with Wisconsin medical license or eligibility
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric medication management
- Experience consulting with or mentoring psychiatric nurse practitioners
