Wisconsin Licensed Consumer Loan Officer
Job Summary
Providing exceptional member service, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Consumer Loan Officer will evaluate loan applications, recommend approvals or modifications, and process documentation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Interview consumer loan applicants and assist in completing loan applications over the phone or electronically
- Evaluate borrower financial information to make informed loan decision recommendations
- Promote credit union products and services while managing the loan closing process with customers
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Finance desired
- Previous experience in Consumer Lending, Banking, Financial Consulting, or Sales preferred
- Experience in a customer service/sales environment with a focus on outbound calls to solicit business
- Strong understanding of the consumer loan application process and consumer credit
- Proficiency in MS-Office and loan application software
