Job Summary
To support individuals in mental health crises, the part-time Wisconsin Licensed Crisis Worker will answer crisis-related telephone calls, conduct mental health and suicide risk assessments, and provide outreach and support while working remotely from Wisconsin.
Key responsibilities
- Answer crisis-related telephone calls and utilize crisis intervention skills to assess mental health crises
- Coordinate the level of intervention needed and provide information and referrals to clients
- Maintain reliability and flexibility while delivering optimal crisis services during calls
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a human services related program preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the mental health field
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of required software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Health Records
- Must reside in Wisconsin and have a suitable remote work environment with high-speed internet
