Job Summary

A company is looking for a Distribution Designer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design overhead and underground distribution electrical facilities, including new customer connections and street lighting
• Address engineering challenges on diverse projects and collaborate with electric utilities and private developers
• Provide project support by drafting documents, computations, and local permit applications while ensuring precision and technical expertise

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of NESC, PENG, and client requirements
• Design experience in distribution, transmission, substation design, and service design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
• Familiarity with engineering design software applications such as PLS CADD and SPIDACalc
• Strong math and engineering skills, including structural and sag analysis
