Job Summary

To support project teams, the remote Wisconsin Licensed Distribution Designer will design overhead and underground electrical facilities, address engineering challenges, and collaborate with electric utilities and private developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design overhead and underground distribution electrical facilities, including pole replacements and new customer connections
• Collaborate with project teams to address engineering challenges and maintain precision in design work
• Draft documents, computations, and local permit applications to support project initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NESC and PENG standards for overhead and underground distribution
• Design experience in distribution, transmission, and substation projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering design software applications
• Ability to perform site visits and provide design support in the field
• Strong math and engineering skills, including structural and sag analysis
