Job Summary

A company is looking for an Emergency Room Coding Specialist (Facility).

Key Responsibilities

• Review Facility Emergency Room medical records and properly code the charts
• Meet or exceed high quality and productivity standards to provide exceptional coding services
• Communicate and collaborate with inpatient coders and managers to address client needs

Required Qualifications

• Current CCS, RHIA, RHIT through AHIMA or CPC through AAPC coding credentials
• 3 or more years of ED facility coding experience
• 2 years of ambulatory surgery facility fee coding experience
• 2 years of ICD-10 PCS coding experience
• Access to high-speed internet and a workstation
