Job Summary
Leading the implementation and support of clinical applications, the full-time Senior Epic Ambulatory Applications Analyst will manage projects, provide education, and collaborate with clinical staff while being eligible for remote work in select states.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Epic Ambulatory applications, ensuring effective use and support across clinical departments
- Conduct project management activities, including analysis, design, implementation, and training related to assigned application software
- Consult extensively with healthcare professionals and administrative users to improve patient safety, workflow, and cost containment
Required qualifications
- Experience and certification with Epic Ambulatory
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or five+ years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
- Minimum of three years' experience in implementing clinical information systems, with teaching/training and project management experience
- ITIL and HIMSS certifications to be completed within one year of hire
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, clinical processes, and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
