Job Summary
To support a healthcare technology team, the remote HL7 FHIR Integration Engineer will design, develop, and maintain healthcare integrations using HL7 and FHIR standards, ensuring seamless data exchange between clinical and business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain healthcare integrations using HL7 v2.x, FHIR, and related interoperability standards
- Analyze interface requirements and implement solutions to support data exchange between EHRs, clinical applications, and third-party systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues, data mapping challenges, and production support incidents
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in healthcare interoperability
- Hands-on expertise with HL7 v2.x and FHIR standards
- Experience integrating with EHR/EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
- Strong understanding of healthcare data workflows and interface development
- Experience with APIs, RESTful services, JSON, and XML
