Job Summary
A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist - Collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the business, clients, patients, and insurance companies through various communication channels
- Submit claims to insurance providers and manage accounts to ensure timely resolution
- Develop workflows and procedures for incoming clients while maintaining compliance with industry regulations
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED required; Associate's Degree or two years of college preferred
- 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center environment
- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced environment with multitasking responsibilities
- 1+ year of experience with medical insurance, coding, or billing in a professional setting
- Completion of assigned training and learning plans, including compliance requirements
