Job Summary
A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist - Collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the business, clients, patients, and insurance companies through various communication channels
- Submit claims to insurance providers and manage accounts to ensure resolution before sending to collections
- Develop workflows and procedures for incoming clients and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking required
- 1+ year of experience with medical insurance, coding, or billing in a professional setting
