Job Summary
A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist - Collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the business, clients, patients, and insurance companies through various communication channels
- Submit claims to insurance providers and manage account resolutions while adhering to department processes and industry regulations
- Engage with callers to confirm information, diffuse conflict, and contribute to workflow development for incoming clients
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or two years of college preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center environment
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking capabilities
- At least 1 year of experience with medical insurance, coding, or billing in a professional setting
