Job Summary

Leading field operations for a multi-million-dollar barred owl removal and research program, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Laboratory Manager will supervise a team, perform barred owl surveys and removals, and manage project logistics while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise day-to-day laboratory operations and staff to ensure compliance with standards
• Develop and facilitate training on scientific experimentation and technical procedures
• Perform barred owl surveys and removals following strict protocols

Required qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience conducting barred owl removals and spotted owl fieldwork
• Supervisory experience in training, scheduling, and managing field crews in complex settings
• Research expertise with peer-reviewed publications in barred owl management
• Bachelor's degree required or Master's preferred in Wildlife Ecology or related field
