• Direct and manage the operations of an Underwriting unit, overseeing workflow and managing projects
• Supervise underwriters, ensuring performance management and career development
• Lead complex projects and implement new underwriting guidelines and customer service standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Experience in people management and training development of underwriters
• Previous life underwriting experience is strongly recommended
• A minimum of seven years of operational experience is strongly recommended
• Strong project management skills and a track record of obtaining results
