Job Summary

To support policyholders in navigating legal challenges, the full-time salaried Senior Litigation Attorney will manage moderately complex civil litigation, advocate for clients in various legal settings, and ensure compliance with legal standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation cases, following established guidelines and ethical standards
• Lead discovery processes, draft pleadings and briefs, and represent clients in trials and mediations
• Analyze cases and develop strategies for optimal outcomes, including pursuing settlements

Required qualifications

• Admitted to the Wisconsin State Bar
• Juris Doctor degree
• Demonstrated litigation experience, including preparing civil pleadings and deposing witnesses
• Solid knowledge of tort, contract, and insurance law
• Understanding of the rules of Professional Responsibility for the jurisdiction practiced
