Job Summary
To support the Digestive Health Center, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Medical Assistant will provide pre-procedure instructions to patients, focusing on telephone communication and patient outreach, with a potential for hybrid/remote work following orientation.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver patient care that promotes safety and well-being under the direction of a healthcare provider
- Provide pre-procedure instructions and ensure patients have necessary information for their procedures
- Manage patient outreach primarily through telephone communication
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, LPN, or EMT
- Certification or registration as a CMA, RMA, CCMA, EMT-B, EMT-I, or LPN
- Basic Life Support certification
- Computer data entry experience
- Wisconsin state licensure as applicable
