Wisconsin Licensed Medical Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Billing Department, the Remote Wisconsin Licensed Medical Billing Specialist will assist patients with billing inquiries, payment options, and insurance processing while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients via phone with billing inquiries and payment options
• Answer calls and transfer to appropriate departments as needed
• Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required qualifications

• High School diploma, GED/HSED, or equivalent is required
• 1+ years of medical office experience or similar capacity preferred
• Experience in medical and insurance billing (EOB) is needed
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm is required
• Must be located in a state where the company has a presence
