Job Summary
To support a growing mental health initiative, the part-time Wisconsin Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide teletherapy and mental health assessments to PreK-12 students and school staff in partner districts, participating in case discussions and building collaborative relationships with school personnel.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver mental health assessments and teletherapy to students and staff, typically for 2-4 months per student
- Engage in case discussions with the interdisciplinary care team to enhance support strategies
- Facilitate transitions for students and families to community care providers
Required qualifications
- Active independent license in Wisconsin (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PhD/PsyD)
- Minimum of two years of experience providing telehealth mental health services to children and youth
- Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy
- Access to reliable high-speed internet for virtual sessions
- Availability to provide services during and after school hours, including evenings and weekends
