Job Summary
Originating and processing mortgage loans for leads generated by Marine Credit Union, the full-time Inside Mortgage Specialist will ensure exceptional customer service while working remotely in Wisconsin.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Marine Credit Union to originate mortgage loans eligible for sale in the Secondary Market
- Contact members promptly upon receiving mortgage leads to determine eligibility for available mortgage programs
- Process and submit loan documentation for approval while providing updates to referring partners on loan status
Required qualifications
- Wisconsin Licensed Mortgage Specialist
- Master knowledge of conventional fixed mortgage underwriting guidelines
- Experience with automated underwriting systems such as DU/DO
- Strong understanding of RESPA and TILA regulations
- Above average computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
