Job Summary

Offering a full-time remote opportunity, the Wisconsin Licensed Mortgage Underwriter will review and underwrite loan applications, ensuring compliance with bank and regulatory standards while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and underwrite loan applications to meet bank, FHA/VA, and secondary market standards
• Communicate effectively with processors, lenders, and other internal and external customers
• Analyze loan documentation for adherence to investor requirements and track missing documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience as a mortgage underwriter or certified processor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Thorough understanding of the Secondary Market, products, and delivery
• FHA Certification and VA SAR / LAPP Designation are strongly preferred
