Job Summary
Reviewing MRI orders for clinical appropriateness, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed MRI Protocoling Specialist will serve as a clinical resource for MRI protocol assignment and safety screening while working remotely from an approved state.
Key responsibilities
- Review MRI orders for completeness and alignment with established imaging guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists to resolve complex protocoling questions and determine imaging strategies
- Assist in protocol optimization initiatives to improve image quality and operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology or ARMRIT Pathway
- 3 years of experience in advanced modality protocoling and safety screening
- ARRT (R) certification or ARMRIT certification upon hire
- ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MRI) certification within 12 months
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field preferred
