Job Summary

Providing comprehensive patient care in a remote setting, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Nurse Practitioner will assess, diagnose, and treat patients through video visits, collaborating with healthcare professionals and ensuring care coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop treatment plans, including prescribing medications as authorized
• Consult with specialists and provide health education to patients and their families
• Maintain detailed patient records and stay updated on state regulations and evidence-based practices

Required qualifications

• Completion of an accredited master's, postmaster's, or doctorate nurse practitioner program
• Current licensure by the applicable state board of nursing for advanced practice
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) or (FNP-BC)
• Demonstrated competence in providing care for an adequate volume of patients within the past twelve months
