Job Summary
To provide essential clinical care, a Wisconsin Licensed Nurse Practitioner will engage in remote, contract-based work focusing on mental health medication management, conducting psychiatric evaluations, and constructing patient-centered treatment plans.
Key responsibilities:
- Practice comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and follow-up appointments
- Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations
- Document treatment recommendations and prescribe psychiatric medications while ensuring evidence-based practices
Required qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or an accredited PA program with relevant certification
- Unrestricted state license in Wisconsin
- Minimum of 2 years in practice
- Active DEA license preferred for NPs and PA-Cs
- Experience or certification in treating minors is preferred
