Wisconsin Licensed Nursing Department Chair

Job Summary

Providing leadership to faculty and students, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Nursing Department Chair will oversee ASN, BSN, and Master's Direct Entry programs in a remote capacity, focusing on hiring, training, and programmatic management while actively participating in student orientation and faculty development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage hiring, training, and evaluation of faculty and staff while overseeing programmatic management
• Participate in new student orientation and contribute to various academic committees
• Provide student advising and address student complaints and engagement issues

Required qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Nursing (DNP or PhD) required
• Active and unencumbered Wisconsin or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 5 years of online teaching experience preferred
• Experience with CCNE accreditation preferred
