Wisconsin Licensed Pharmacy Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely within Wisconsin, the full-time Senior Pharmacy Analyst will assess and maintain the drug reference file, collaborate with policy and clinical teams, and analyze drug coverage and reimbursement policies for Medicaid.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the assessment and ongoing maintenance of the drug reference file within Wisconsin's Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS)
• Collaborate with policy analysts, systems analysts, and clinical staff to develop and implement drug coverage policies
• Analyze proposed changes to the drug reference file and propose initiatives to improve its quality and efficiency

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare/Pharmacy Industry, including 3+ years of Medicaid and Medicare experience
• Experience with pharmacy reimbursement and understanding of drug coverage rules
• Familiarity with National Drug Codes (NDC) and drug claims processes
• Experience as a systems business analyst
• Access database and Medicaid Pharmacy Benefit experience is a plus
