Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Psychiatric Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychiatric technical support to ensure timely review of psychiatric claims
• Coordinate claim referrals to psychiatric staff and act as a liaison for thorough psychiatric reviews
• Communicate and advocate the company's position on psychiatric claims, resolving disputes as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Current LCSW or LPC state license
• 5-7 years of clinical mental health experience
• Teaching experience in staff development or equivalent professional experience
• Knowledge of disability insurance or prior experience in insurance claim management preferred
