Wisconsin Licensed Revenue Educator

Job Summary

To enhance coding accuracy and support providers, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Revenue Educator will develop and implement educational materials and training resources while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop educational materials related to diagnostic coding and risk adjustment revenue management
• Monitor and audit performance to ensure compliance with established coding policies and procedures
• Assess health insurance products and develop risk management strategies to improve revenue and reduce audit risk

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or medical field, or a registered nurse degree; years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Three years of experience in health insurance, nursing, compliance, or auditing
• Completion of courses in CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCC coding
• Certified Professional Coder certification required within one year
• State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license (if applicable)
