Job Summary

A company is looking for a Site Safety Manager III to provide safety leadership during a planned outage at a coal-fired generation facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site safety lead for outage activities, ensuring compliance with safety plans and procedures
• Conduct daily field observations, safety audits, and facilitate safety meetings
• Lead incident investigations and track safety performance to communicate trends and concerns to leadership

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial or construction safety experience, preferably in power generation outages
• Experience in coal-fired generation facilities or similar heavy industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and hands-on experience with safety permit systems
• Proven ability to work effectively with multiple contractors and large workforces
• Ability to work extended hours and adapt to changing schedules and priorities
