Wisconsin Licensed Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support the growth of a dynamic company, the fully remote Wisconsin Licensed Senior Accountant will manage lease accounting, oversee percentage-of-completion calculations, and design standardized accounting processes while working closely with the Accounting Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the company's lease portfolio under ASC 842, including related journal entries and disclosures
- Own percentage-of-completion calculations and revenue recognition for long-term contracts under ASC 606
- Design and implement accounting policies and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, including a mix of public accounting and industry experience
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, particularly in lease accounting (ASC 842) and revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Experience in building or improving accounting processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
