Job Summary
Leading the implementation and support of clinical information systems, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Senior Epic Analyst will manage projects, provide education, and ensure effective application software usage while being eligible for remote work in select states.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Ambulatory applications, consulting with clinical and administrative staff
- Perform project management activities, including analysis, design, implementation, and support of assigned application software
- Maintain and improve patient safety, departmental workflow, and cost containment through effective application usage
Required qualifications:
- Experience and certification with EPIC Ambulatory
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or five+ years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
- Minimum of three years' experience in implementing clinical information systems
- ITIL and HIMSS certifications to be completed within one year of hire
- Strong understanding of hospital clinical and administrative operations and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
