Job Summary
Supervising outside counsel in the management of complex litigation cases, the full-time remote Wisconsin Licensed Supervisory Attorney will analyze cases, oversee litigation processes, and conduct legal research while reporting to a senior manager in the litigation department.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle litigation involving the corporation and its insured within established guidelines
- Oversee outside counsel throughout the litigation of complex claims and provide feedback on motions and briefs
- Stay current on state statutes and court decisions, analyzing their impact on policy provisions
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree and admission to the state bar in the relevant jurisdiction
- Demonstrated litigation experience and knowledge of tort, contract, and insurance law
- Experience preparing civil pleadings, motions, and conducting depositions
- Solid understanding of the rules of Professional Responsibility
- Coverage experience preferred
