Job Summary

Supervising outside counsel in the management of complex litigation cases, the full-time remote Wisconsin Licensed Supervisory Attorney will analyze cases, oversee litigation processes, and conduct legal research while reporting to a senior manager in the litigation department.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle litigation involving the corporation and its insured within established guidelines
• Oversee outside counsel throughout the litigation of complex claims and provide feedback on motions and briefs
• Stay current on state statutes and court decisions, analyzing their impact on policy provisions

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree and admission to the state bar in the relevant jurisdiction
• Demonstrated litigation experience and knowledge of tort, contract, and insurance law
• Experience preparing civil pleadings, motions, and conducting depositions
• Solid understanding of the rules of Professional Responsibility
• Coverage experience preferred
