Job Summary

Processing litigated accounts for patients represented by attorneys, the full-time Wisconsin Litigated Account Specialist will manage communications with legal representatives and patients regarding workers' compensation, personal injury, and other financial matters while working remotely from Wisconsin.

Key responsibilities

• Processes litigated accounts by contacting attorneys and collecting necessary information through various communication methods
• Ensures compliance with industry laws and department procedures while documenting interactions in internal technology platforms
• Educates patients and attorneys on the healthcare revenue cycle and resolves account-related issues as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 9+ months of experience in collections, legal, or insurance industries
• 1+ year of experience making sound decisions and resolving problems preferred
• Must reside in the state of Wisconsin
• Previous collections or customer service experience preferred
