Job Summary

Processing litigated accounts for patients represented by attorneys, the full-time Wisconsin Litigated Account Specialist will manage communications with legal representatives and patients, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while working remotely from Wisconsin.

Key responsibilities

• Process litigated accounts by collecting necessary information from attorneys and documenting it in internal systems
• Follow department procedures to ensure compliance with industry laws and engage with callers to clarify information and resolve issues
• Educate patients and attorneys on the healthcare revenue cycle and repayment programs to enhance financial well-being

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 9+ months of experience in collections, legal, or insurance industries
• 1+ year(s) of experience in decision-making and problem resolution preferred
• Must reside in the state of Wisconsin
• Previous collections or customer service experience preferred
