Job Summary

Processing accounts for patients represented by attorneys, the full-time Wisconsin Litigated Account Specialist will manage communications with legal representatives, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and educate clients on financial options while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Processes litigated accounts by contacting attorneys and collecting relevant information through various communication methods
• Follows department procedures to ensure compliance with industry laws and resolves troubled accounts as needed
• Educates patients and attorneys on the healthcare revenue cycle and repayment programs to enhance financial well-being

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 9+ months of experience in collections, legal, or insurance industries
• 1+ year(s) of experience using judgment to make decisions and resolve problems preferred
• Must reside in the state of Wisconsin
