Wisconsin Network Engineer
Job Summary
To support and modernize a large-scale network environment, the full-time Wisconsin Network Engineer will design, implement, and secure enterprise network infrastructure while collaborating with various teams in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and secure enterprise LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and cloud-based network infrastructure
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, systems administration, and application teams to deliver reliable and scalable network services
- Monitor network health, availability, throughput, and security while identifying opportunities for improvement
Required qualifications
- 11+ years of experience designing, implementing, securing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure
- Strong expertise with LAN/WAN technologies, including routing, switching, VLANs, and VPN technologies
- Experience configuring and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, and secure remote access solutions
- Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience involving complex network environments
- Experience supporting environments with regulatory and security compliance requirements
